2008 Texas Hill Country Needlework Retreat

You’re Invited… 

to attend a 2008 Hill Country Retreat. For those attending for the first time, I can describe it as everything you could want.  We. shop, eat, rest, laugh, and stitch.  Some say it is just short of heaven!  I hope you can join us.

This year, you may select any piece from my needlepoint, hooked rug, and embroidery designs. For those who have attended previously, you may bring one of my canvases to finish.  I have many exciting new designs to choose from! Please let us know at least one month in advance so we can have the style and size you desire on hand.

The cost of the 2008 Retreat is $675.  If you have attended retreat previously, the price remains the same as the first year you attended (providing that you have attended each year since).  The fee includes lodging, two meals a day (continental breakfast and a light lunch), and stitching instruction as needed.

A deposit of $100 (per retreat) is required with your application. Visa, Master Card, and Discover accepted.  Retreat space is limited, so send your application with a deposit to reserve your space.  Do not delay!

Come be our guest in our unique one bedroom cottage in Fredericksburg, Texas. Our cottage has full kitchen facilities, and a Jacuzzi Tub bath, with a twin size bed available upon request.

Now available is the Stitcher's retreat house. It has 7 twin beds and two full size beds. With decor by Sandy.

Whether you plan to shop, hunt for antiques, just relax and stitch on one of Sandy Jenkins unique designs, or enjoy the German "Flavor" of Fredericksburg, you will enjoy the peaceful atmosphere in the cottage and/or Stitcher's Retreat, completed with unique touches added by Sandy Jenkins.

You will enjoy a continental Breakfast with your stay, provided on lovely dishes, hand-painted by Sandy. We also provide juice, coffee, and a variety of teas for your enjoyment

Private stitching lessons with Sandy Jenkins are available at a special rate (must be arranged at the time of booking).

The Cottage is $120.00 per night + tax. The Retreat House is $295.00 per night + tax. There is a 2-night minimum required on weekends for each lodging. We would love for you to come be our guest. For Reservations, call: (830) 997-9863

Sandy will be offering "One Day" stitching classes. The "Day of Fun in Fredericksburg" will cost $50.00 per person. The class includes a Brunch/Lunch, and a "Day of Fun": Get a group of 8 or more together and call to reserve your date.
